With heavy hearts, the Campbell, Watkins, Delaney, Roberts, Anderson, McBorough, Mashinini, Redd, Tubman, Davis, Cummings, Carr, and Peabody families announce that Richelieu Wellington Campbell entered into eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and quiet strength on Friday, April 10, 2026.
He is survived by his devoted and beloved wife of over 50 years, Martha Campbell; his children, Rose Campbell, Dwehla Fleurimond (Ted), and Himmien Campbell (Halima); and his cherished grandchildren, Mergenie, Tyler, Taylor, McKenzie, Gabriel, Joaquim, and Ivanna Silva.
He is also survived by his siblings, Reid Campbell, Rose Moulton, Emmett Dennis, Magdeline Campbell, Cornelia Benard, Welma Mashinini-Redd, Eva-Mae Campbell, and Mondaymah Walters. He was preceded in death by his parents, C. Wellington Campbell, Sr., Eva Watkins, and Emma Campbell; and his siblings, C. Wellington Campbell, Jr., Emmett Campbell, and Alwin Campbell.
