It is with profound sadness that the Jensen, Dale, Frieson, and King families announce the passing and homegoing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend, Biaka Letrice Dale Jensen, who departed this life on April 3, 2026, in Minneapolis, MN.
Born on April 17, 1982, Biaka was the cherished daughter of Clifford A. Dale and Tamela R. Frieson. Biaka was raised in Chicago, Illinois, where she attended Oglesby Elementary School and later graduated from Simeon Career Academy. She went on to earn an Associate of Arts in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from AIU, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Ashford University.
Biaka was a very loving and compassionate woman whose warmth touched everyone she encountered. She had a caring spirit and a heart for others; always offering encouragement, support, and kindness to family and friends. Her presence brought comfort and joy wherever she was. She will be remembered for her genuine love, strength, and beautiful soul. Biaka especially loved April, celebrating her birthday all month long.
Biaka was preceded in death by her beloved grandfather Willie Ed Frieson (Papa), with whom she had a very special bond; he affectionately called her “Pretty Girl”. Her uncles, Terrance and Troy Frieson; her grandmother, Florence Honey; her grandfather, Clifford Dale Sr., and a host of many beloved relatives and friends.
Biaka leaves behind a loving family to cherish her precious memory: her loving husband Benjamin Jensen Jr., her children Isaac Kamara (Tete), Mardea Jensen-Nyenswah (Francis), Isaac Nuwo Jensen, Benjamin Nuwo Jensen III, Lela Tenneh Jensen, Kylan Roebuck Jensen, and Bryce Nuwo Jensen, and her six grandchildren. She’s also lovingly remembered by her mother, Tamela Frieson, whom she dearly loved; her father, Clifford Dale; her brothers,
Timothy, Trent, Lil Clif, and Laine; her sisters, Landrey and Arica; her grandmother, Delores Frieson; and her mother-in-law, Martha Innis Mayson.
Biaka shared a special bond with her sister-in-law, Mercy Mayson, and her dear friend, Shannah Stewart. She also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Biaka Letrice Dale will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
