It is with heavy hearts that the Dixon family announces the passing of their beloved son, brother, and father, George Archie Dixon, who transitioned to glory on Monday, August 10, 2026.
Archie George Dixon was born to the late Major Nathaniel Dixon and Maryann Cooper Dixon. He was a devoted father to his cherished son, George “Champ” Dixon, and a beloved brother to Joyce Gloria Wahmah (deceased), Hawa Gobar Swaray, Olivia Dixon, Diana “Deddeh” Dixon Johnson, Joan Joetta Dixon, Natalie Theodosha “Pinky” Dixon Tarr, and his brother, Nathaniel Dixon Jr.
Archie will be remembered for his quiet strength, honesty, and the love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on through his son, his siblings, and all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Major Nathaniel Dixon and Maryann Cooper Dixon.
He is survived by his loving son and devoted siblings, along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will forever hold him dear.
