Mother Peggy Ann Davis

John 11: 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life. He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that the Davis, Anderson, Lavall, and Bryant family announces the peaceful passing of our mother, aunty, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother Mother Peggy Ann Davis, who transitioned into eternal rest on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center after a brief illness.

Mother Peggy was a renowned Christian who prayed and kept her family together. She was a devoted member of the Shiloh Baptist Church, Royesville Liberia, and a founding member of the Abundant Grace Church, in Laurel Maryland USA. She was predeceased by her husband the late Solomon C. Davis Sr, and her daughter the late Deacon Jannie Ellen Mathies.

Mother Peggy leaves to cherish her precious memory, her children: William (Moijama), Solomon (Matilda), Williette (Jigbe), John (Henrietta), Beatrice (Clarence Sr.), Susanna, James (Makoyah), Roseline (Addo Sr), Peggy (Mulbah), and Neiger (Victoria). Mother Peggy also leaves to mourn many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and a host of relatives and friends in the USA and Liberia. May her sweet gentle soul continue to rest in perfect peace.
