The Davis and Duncan Families is sad to announce the death of our wife, mom, sister, aunt and cousin, Victoria S. Davis, who died at John F. Kennedy Hospital in Monrovia on Monday evening February 22, 2021, after a brief illness.
Victoria was born in Voinjama, Lofa County, Liberia on July 18, 1948. She was the daughter of Joseph Duncan and Kebbeh Baysah and is survived by her husband Joseph W. Davis, six children: David Weah (Mercy), Emmanuel Davis (Vivian), Ophelia Twenefor (Eugene), Oretha Davis, Charlotte Y.D.Kpanah (Joshua), Jael Davis, Patience Jappah (Bernard)), twenty-one grandchildren. She had five siblings, one of which who predeceased her and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, both in Liberia and the US.
We thank God for the many years He has allowed her to be here with us and trust that He will continue to hold onto her. We will miss her laughter and her unending love for her family.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021, at the St. Kizito’s Catholic Church in Paynesville.
