The White, Urey, and Dennis Families are saddened to announce the death of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunty, cousin and friend, Kathryn Louise Urey White Dennis who departed this life to be with our Lord on May 24, 2026, at the home of her daughter, Feta in Coon Rapids, Minnesota surrounded by her children and family.
She was predeceased by her parents Robert Douglas Urey Sr. and Anna Lynch Urey; her husband, Albert T. White, Sr.; her sisters and brothers Earlie, Esther, Roosevelt, Benjamin, William, and Teddy Urey; her children Yvonne, Albertine, Andy, Winifred, and Wanasue; her grandsons Al B and Christopher (Puka).
She is survived by her Siblings Burdie, Emma, Anna (Muttie), Wynston, Genevieve, and Marie (Daniel); her Children: Evelyn, Albert/Bud (Ngawa), (Columbia), Feta, Bill (Vicky), Lilweti (Michelle), Mydea, Gifty, E.C. (Ben), and Eva; Grandchildren: Jeff, Archie, Mechenn, Nyvonne (Penny), Chrislyn, (Arometta), Sargent, Timothy (JaQuoiyia), Kevin, Andy B (Nisha), Anuwar, Bill, Billiemma (D.K.), Torika, Tylavii (Lillyan), Andy, Karrie, Lilweti Jr., Keilyn, Emmanuel (Blessing), Dema, Boima, Brian, Christle, Bridgette (Frank), Brianna (Joe), Brielle, Albertine Ada, Praise, Abigail, Wanasue, Albertine Mydea; and Great-grand Children: Chrislyn, Christopher Kei, Riley, Ivy Grace, Nicolas, Tejen, Sinai, Karma, Micah, Jonah, Emmanuel, Ernest, Godwin, Elyn, Tyson, Taryn, Zalia, Zoriah, Anthony, Mor, Archer, Everly, Marley, Frederick and Aaron as well as scores of nieces, nephews, other relatives and lifelong friends including Mrs. Catherine Ketter.
Mame, Mommie Grand, Aunt Katie, Big Sister, Mame White, Mrs. White are names she was lovingly known as. She is now resting in Peace with our God. She desired to be remembered as a servant of God and humanity.
Wake Keeping in the United States will be held on June 26 from 6-9 PM, CST and Funeral Service on June 27 at 10 AM CST at The Elim Lutheran Church of Robbinsdale, Minnesota located at 3978 West Broadway, Robbinsdale, MN 55422. Her remains will be taken to Liberia for Wake Keeping and Funeral Service on July 10 and 11, 2026 at Mount Galilee Baptist Church in Careysburg, Liberia. Interment will follow at the family’s cemetery in Pleasantville, Careysburg.
