It is with a deep sense of sadness that the Shillington, Goma, Dahn, Caulker and Neyor families announce the transition of their husband, father, brother, nephew, uncle and cousin George Shellington. George passed away peacefully on the early morning of May 21, 2026 after a brief illness at his home in Elk River, Minnesota surrounded by his beloved wife Precious and two young children.
George is survived by his wife Precious Shellington, three children: Derek (17), Ed Lian (12) and Lillian (8); host of relatives foremost among them his Uncle Cllr Roland Dahn and his wife Dr Bernice Dahn who were his foster parents; siblings including brothers: Jetee Shellington Scout, Esther Dahn, John Dahn, Mammie Dahn, Stephen Dahn and Lemah Dahn.
George was an avid soccer (football) player. In his prime, he played for the St Joseph Warriors Football Club in Liberia and was called to the Liberian national team. He worked for 26 years with TARGET at their central Distribution Center where he was a manager.
George was a loving husband and father and provided well for his family. He was well connected with church, his extended family and dozens of friends of many years. May his soul rest in peace and the perputual light of our Creator shine on him.
