It is with profound sadness that the Okai and Briggs families announce the death of Mr. Ammon A. Okai of Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Ammon was predeceased by his son and parents. He is survived by his wife Madia Briggs Okai, children: Ammon Okai Jr. and Jambee Thomas, grandchildren: Aaron Ammon Okai, Diamond Currence, Anthony Thomas, Leah Ingram, Egypt Cole, Seray Cole, and Khouron Rainey, his nine siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends in the US and Liberia.
