Mother Tanneh Peters (Pailey Tanneh)

‘The Lord is my light and my salvation………’

The Pailey, Peters, Pennie, Seibure and Chebli families are saddened to announce the death of their beloved, matriarch, Mother, grandmother, great grandmother Tanneh E. Peters (Pailey Tanneh). This sad event occurred on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 7:15pm after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She leaves to mourn her children: Diana Chebli Davies, Amos B. Dennis, Samuel Chebli, and Jannie Seibure. Foster’s son, Andrew Nelson (Benetta Nelson), 16 Grandchildren, including, Krystal Burkes, Philip Dennis, Kenneth Burkes, Michael Rouhana, Nellie Carroll (Jacob Carroll), Jamie Debbah, Marcus Davies, and Alvin Dennis; 11 great grandchildren; Nephews, including Joseph Seibure (Jamila), Francis Seibure (Charlesetta), Robert Pailey. Nieces, including Hannah Peters SolomonAmekortu, Patricia Woods as well as a host of other relatives in Liberia, Europe, and Sierra Leone. Associates of the KRAO Association of America, St. Alphonso Catholic Church family and The Mary Sharpe Methodist Church in Monrovia, Liberia.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Dr. Minister Nfannie Seibure- Nimine, 5 siblings, and her parents.
