With profound and utmost sadness, the Coleman and Wesley families announce the homegoing of their mother, Grandmother, and Great Grand Mother, in her 93rd year on this earth Mary Wesley Coleman. This sad event occurred on Friday, September 1st at approximately 6:04 am at Piedmont Eastside Hospital in Snellville, Georgia.
Mrs. Coleman was predeceased by her husband, the late William Varney Coleman, her sons William V. Coleman Jr. and Jefferson Coleman, her parents Emmanuel and Susannah Wesley, and her siblings, Abraham, John, Henry, Viola, Emmanuel and Angeline.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Varney(Rose), Amelia Dowah, Catherine, Susanna, Samford(Joan), Cecil(Peggy), Olive, Adolphus, and Big Varney. Her beloved Sisters, Louisa Wesley -Addy and Anna Wesley, and brother Sam Wesley. Grand Children, Wiatta(Ken), Marie(Abiodum), Maya, EmeliaWilliam, Emanuel, Mark Emanuel, Cecil( Serena), Stacy(Deidra), Sam, Einsteina(Larry )Sheena, Gloria(Sam). Several great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and family in the United States and Liberia.
Oma, as she was affectionately called, will always be remembered for her humble, kind, and gentle spirit. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
