The family of Joan Nefertiti Lawrence Gbenyon, born on March 16, 1946, sadly announces her passing on March 14, 2025, at Carey House Hospice in Maryland, just two days before her 79th birthday.
She is deeply mourned by her son, Lawrence Gbenyon III (Alyson); her grandson, Cooper Gbenyon; her siblings, Amy Ba, Joseph Lawrence (Comfort), Estelle Porte (Algernon), and Luis Lawrence; along with a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on March 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
