The Seton and Harris families regrettably announce the untimely home-going of our Father, Son, brother and cousin, Mr Jackie Archie Seton. This sad event occurred on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at his home in Glendale Virginia.
Jackie was born on January 16/1966 to the union of Mr John Hne Seton and Edith Betty Harris, both of whom predeceased him.
Jackie attended grade school in the USA and then relocated back to Liberia where he graduated from Wells Hairston High school; eventually, he graduated from college as a business major. Due to the civil war, Jackie returned to the USA where he lived until his untimely death.
While in Liberia Jackie who was an astute and well-versed basket player, played for the Wells Hairston High School, and the Pythons teams.
Jackie leaves to mourn his loss his children Lynette Chelley, Joel Seton, and Joy Seton; Brothers and Sisters: Thomas Suku Walker, Willimena Walker(Pre deceased), Edith Dickerson, Robert Nagbe Walker, Robertson Seton (Predeceased), Martin Seton(Pre deceased), Johnette Seton Outland, John Seton Butler, George Seton Butler. Stepmother: Olga Butler. Aunts and Uncles: Charles Harris Jr, Christine Harris Idiokitas, Watchen Harris Bruce, Girlfriend: Blanchen Eastman, and a host of other relatives including cousins, nieces, nephews, Classmates and friends in Liberia, Europe and the USA.
Our beloved father will be missed dearly. The void that he leaves is immeasurable. Though we are grieving his loss, we are equally grateful to God for giving him the years spent on earth. We celebrate and honor God for this immense blessing.
