Abe, as she was affectionately called, passed away after a protracted illness on November 22, 2022, surrounded by friends and family. She is survived by her five children: Jonathan, Emmanuel (Shirley ), Richard (Fatmata ), Madia, and Erton Okeke. She was blessed with seven grandchildren and survived by seven Brothers and Sisters: Louise, Bobby, Maesah, Myra, Caroline, Lewis & Emmett. Other surviving relatives: Uncles and Aunts – Theresa Leigh-Sherman and Amanda Nelson King & Siblings; Cousins – Wilmot & Lois Nelson and Eric Brown & siblings; Martha Grebo Nelson, James Grebo-Okeke (Tetah); Nieces & Nephews (including Korpo and Loic Cooper, Passion Johnson & siplings; and 2 Foster Brothers: Nakie Lenah (Yassah) and Matthew Freeman (Priscilla).
All services will be held at Brookdale Christian Center AG, 6030 Xerxes Ave N, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430.
