The Chie and Dougan families are saddened to announce the homegoing of their father, grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin, Mr. Emmanuel S. Chie. This sad event occurred on March 28, 2025, in Petersburg, Virginia, USA, after a protracted illness.
He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories his wife, Mrs. Eva Chie, one sister- Mrs. Beatrice Chie Siryon, his children Nyepan N. Chie, Nanu Chie Kolubah, Ellen Chie, Beneditta Chie and Emmanuel G. Chie, Jr. Eighteen grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends, in the USA, Liberia and other parts of the world.
He was predeceased by his parents Mr. David N. Chie and Madia Rebecca Dougan, his siblings Nyepan Chie, Acee Sarah Chie and David Chie, Jr.
