It is with gratitude and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Cousin Elizabeth Barbly. This sad event occurred on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
She leaves to mourn her children, Edith Smith Okang, James Smith, Gaye Barbly , Gabriel Barbly, Etna Barbly Morris, Suzanna Barbly, and Abraham Barbly, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends in Liberia and the United States.
Although shocking and unexpected, we will take comfort in knowing God has a plan for all of us. We will always be grateful for the time spent with her and cherish the good memories until we meet again.
