It is with gratitude and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin James Feay Roberts. This sad event occurred on Friday, March 21, 2025 in Monrovia, Liberia.
To many family members and friends, he was casually known as Uncle Feay, Daddy Feay, Boy Feay, and James Feay. Working his way through a tough life at a young age, he remained focused as he gained his education through high school and Cuttington University. Through the ups and downs like the onset of the civil war, he was there to protect his family and came out of a very dire situation after many prayers.
He was a cherished father whose presence brought joy and warmth to all who knew him. His love, kindness, and wisdom will be missed but never forgotten.
James Feay Roberts is predeceased by his parents, William M. Roberts Sr. and Mary Saryee, his siblings, Isaac T. Roberts, Joan E. Roberts- Killan, William M.Roberts Jr, Robert Roberts, Ismael Roberts, Lewis Roberts, and Josephus Roberts.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Samelia Diana Roberts, his sons, Moivee Roberts, Seigbeh Roberts, James Feay Roberts Jr, Diamel Roberts, his adopted kids, his grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends in Liberia and the United States.
Although shocking and unexpected, we will take comfort in knowing God has a plan for all of us. We will always be grateful for the time spent with him and cherish the good memories for the rest of our lives.
