The Brown, Copper, Clements, and Johnson families announce with great sadness the peaceful transitioning of our loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather and cousin, Hietha C. Brown Sr. This sad event occurred on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at his residence in Brewerville, Liberia. He was known to be a quiet, and a compassionate person. He loved the simple things in life. Hietha Sr. was predeceased by his wife, Annette S. Johnson-Brown and parents: John Henry Brown and Hannah Askie-Brown, sister and brother – Dehansar Brown-Trotman and Sherman W. Brown respectively.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his children – Hillary C. Brown Sr. (Meme), Bendu Brown-Czerwinski (Jimmy), Wellington C. Brown (Agnes), Roselydia Brown-Wisseh (Togbah), Hietha C. Brown Jr.(Helen), Domah H. Brown Sr. (Philominah), Joseph J. Brown, Miatta B. Brown, Johnson F. Brown (Hawa), S. Coretta Capps-Nebo (Moses), James Ballah (Rose), Ayo S. Parker, Simeon J. Brown (Maima), his sister – Maggie Clarke-Oberly and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren and countless relatives and friends around the world.
Hietha also leaves to mourn his loss, the entire Salem Baptist Church family.
