It is with heavy and saddened hearts that the Tubman, Wilson, Barnes, Yancy, Harmon, Gibson, Brewer, Wesley and William V.S. Tubman University family announce the passing of our beloved Eli Alexander Budu Tubman. This sad event occurred on May 17, 2023, at the J.J.Dosen Hospital in Harper City, Maryland County, Liberia.
Mr. “T,” as he was affectionately called, was a strong family loving man and a passionate advocate of Pan Africanism. He is survived by his sons: Taweh (Varlene), Jumoki, and Vacanarat Tubman, five grandchildren, several siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. Eli was predeceased in death by his father General Alexander Glen Tubman, mother, Mary Holuda Wilson-Wesley and Uncle W.V.S.Tubman, sr.
Funeral Services will be held in Harper City, Maryland County, Liberia.
