We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, husband, brother, and grandfather. As Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 reminds us, To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.

Our beloved Cephus Krahn Gbayou left this world on July 10, 2023, in Hyattsville, Maryland, at the age of 60. He will be deeply missed by his wife, children, siblings, cousins, nephews, grandchildren, and friends.

Mr. Gbayou is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thumbelina T. Gbayou, and his children, Cephus K. Gbayou Jr. Rosetta Gbayou Weah, Simeon D Gbayou, Alfred D. Jardiah, James E.B. Richardson, Haws J. Richardson as well as his siblings, cousins, nephews, and numerous other relatives.
