With mournful hearts, the Moore, Redd, Page-Stryker, and Ben Families regret to announce the passing of Mr. Anthony Cadmus Moore, Jr., who departed this world on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 7:00 Ante Meridiem, at John F. Kennedy Medical Center, Monrovia, Liberia.
Cadmus leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Mrs. Helen Ben Moore; his children: Irener Berlyne Moore-Clarke (Fred), Izetta Nukie Moore, Cynthia Decontee Moore-Tyler (Emmanuel), Zenobia Jerusha Moore, Arisa Cytheria Eliza Moore, Anthony Novan Moore, Philomena Cynthia Moore, Elvis Moore, Everlton Moore, and Joseph Moore (Foster Son); 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his step-mother, Lucretia Gray-Moore; his siblings: Vivion Moore, Catherine Harris, Arlene B. Moore, Larry Everlton Moore, Sr. (Shernett), Cynthia W. Moore, Owen Spencer Moore, Sr. (Sylvia), Katie Moore-Coleman (Frank), Dr. Temora Moore-Gray, Alvina C. Moore, Yvette Lomax, Jerry Harris (Cerue), and Rebecca Sirleaf (Sekou), as well as, a host of relatives.
Cadmus was predeceased by his parents: Rev. A. Cadmus Moore, Sr., and Mrs. Zenobia Jerusha Page-Moore; his sisters: Zoanie Moore, Queenette Moore-Willie, Arisa C. Moore-Gant (Bill), Cecelia Harris, Joyce A. Moore-Liberty (Sam); brothers: Hezekiah Franklin, Fred Moore; and other close relatives.
May the soul of our devoted husband, father, brother, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend A. Cadmus, Rest in Perfect Peace. A. Cadmus will be dearly missed, and his memories will forever be cherished. May God grant peaceful repose to Cadmus and may Light Eternal shine upon him.
