On August 17th 1954, Jeridell was born to Josiah and Martha Weah in Cape Palmas Maryland county, in the Republic of Liberia. She was raised alongside her two elder sisters, Jessie and Susannah and older brother Stephen. She was the youngest of her siblings.She began her early education at the Assemblies of God Mission School, in Cape Palmas. After completing elementary
During her schooling, Jeridell was outstanding in outdoor activities, youth leadership, and cooking. She was an active member of the Assemblies of God youth choir and then later, the young adult choir.
In the late 1960s, she moved to Jeprotown Bushrod Island in Monrovia, and stayed with her aunt Alice, in order to continue her education. From there, she later went to live with her uncle and his wife, Mr. & Mrs. Toe, at the Harbel Firestone Plantation Company’s compound.
Rev. Jeridell met Larry T. Chea who was ateacher at Harbel Junior High School. Theirfriendship blossomed into love and together they built a beautiful family. Jeridell and Larry were blessed with children and were united in holy matrimony in July of 1979. The entirefamily lived in Firestone.
In 1984 she came to the United States to join her husband. Jeridell attended nursing school at Minneapolis Community College and obtained her nursing certificate. She worked in the health care field for over twenty-five years to support her family, alongside her husband. In the early 2000s, she began to work as a foster parent and welcomed a verity of children into her home,with different needs. During this time, she met and fell in love with a young child named Mohammed Bility. She adopted him and renamed him Micah Chea.
Our mother heard the calling of the Lord into ministry. Many pastors confirmed the word that God had spoken over her life. After months of prayer and fasting, she faithfully answered the call in 2009 and was officially ordained into the ministry by Bishop Amos G. Bah
In 2010, the doors of the ministry officially opened and the name Jesus Ministries International, came to her through a revelation from the Lord. JMI began humbly in the family room of Pastor Jeridell’s home; where we held bible studies, tarry services, and Sunday worship services. The ministry steadily grew from the family room, to the Champlin community center, to its current location: 10900 Noble Ave North, Champlin, MN.
Through Jesus Ministry International, Pastor Jeridell touched so many lives within the community and aboard. She served the homeless, fed the hungry, provided toys to families and single parents during Christmas time. Her compassion and kindness was truly genuine.

On the evening of January 30th 2026, she went home to meet the Lord. Rev. Jeridell will truly be missed by her family and all those who loved her. Mom, we love you and we miss you. You will always be in our hearts and minds.
