The Scott, Krangar, Redd families are saddened to announce the home going of our dear husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend of Mr. Oliver Ray Scott. This sad event occurred on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at his home in Minneapolis, MN.
Oliver was born unto the union of William and Lillie Scott in Palma, Missouri, USA, on March 10, 1955. He graduated from Parma High in Palma, Missouri’ and later serviced in the US Army for many years and was honorably discharged. He joined his sister, Georgia Mae Ware in Minneapolis, MN to seek greener pastures. He was a Jolly Good Fellow; loved fishing, exercising, cooking, and was a good dancer.
To mourn his loss are his wife Elaine Krangar-Scott: his children; Oliver Scott II, (Latoya), Carshena Patton, Yvonne Haygood, Seyondi Roberts and Rose Norris his sisters; Vester McBride Elkhart, Lessie Pulliam Kennett, Lizzie Pulliam Kennett and Evelyn Ison his brothers; Sylvester Scott, William Scott Jr (Ann), George Scott Sr., Steve Scott and his grandchildren; Oliver Ray Scott the III, Olivia R Scott, Olia R. Scott, Chloe M Patton, Lavontry Patton, Antonio Jordan, Devon Talley, Savon Hayes, Kiarra Boyd, and. was also Blessed with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Oliver was predeceased by his parents, William and Lillie Scott; sisters; Georgia Mae Ware, Ruthie Calcutta and Louvester Conway,
