It is with a heartfelt sorrow that the Clinton, Johnson, Kamara, Dennis, Bigweh, Massaley, Ajose, and Adebamowo families announce the unexpected yet peaceful passing of Reverend Mother Marilyn Victoria Clinton, our devout mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, niece, cousin, sincere friend, and respected pastor, in Accra, Ghana on May 5, 2024.
Reverend Mother Marilyn Victora Clinton was an affectionate, dedicated, jovial, and hardworking individual who devoted her adult life to the ministry of the gospel.
Reverend Mother Marilyn Clinton affectionately known as “Jue”, “Marian”, “Sis”, “Reverend Mot” was born in Edina City, Grand Bassa County, to the union of Reverend Joseph T. (JT) Clinton (deceased) and Mother Gladys E. Moore Clinton (deceased) on June 16, 1959.
Reverend Mother leaves to mourn her beloved family including 2 children, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild (with one on the way), siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of close family which includes, Pastor Rose Clinton Kamara (Buster, deceased), Bishop Revered Adolphus V. Clinton (Samaria, deceased), Evangelist Esther Clinton Dennis (Samuel), Louise Clinton Bigweh (Josiah, deceased) Pastor Gladys Clinton Massaley,(James, deceased) Rev. Joseph R. Clinton, Pastor Alisamaria Clinton Adebamowo (Pius), Leatte Clinton, Ama W. Clinton, Denise Clinton Johnson (Thomas), Peyton, Francis, Jenece Victoria, Xaiden, Xeniyah, Esther Clinton, and Ranette Harris. She also leaves many other close relatives, her only living Uncle, Mr. George Clinton (Addie) of RI, nieces, nephews, cousins, good friends and spiritual families in the United States, Canada, The United Kingdom, Ghana and Liberia.
She is predeceased by her parents Reverend Joseph T. Clinton, Mother Gladys E. Moore Clinton, siblings, Joseph T Clinton Jr., Burline C. Ajose, (David), John David Clinton and Winston Clinton.
During her time on earth, she touched so many lives and shared in many great memories that will truly be missed by those she leaves behind.
