It is with profound sorrow that the Brown, Sayon and Nagbe families announce the passing of our beloved Father, Brother, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and Uncle, Sampson Toe Brown. This sad event occurred in Staten Island, NY on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Staten Island University Hospital North.
Sampson leaves to mourn his passing his wife Nancy Nagbe Brown, children: Terrence (Georgetta), Munah, Arnold (Toni), Comfort, Justin (Garmai), Robert (Korzu), Alice, Jerome, Bobby and Alphonso. He also leaves to mourn, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives.
Sampson was a “people person” loved by many family members, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a kind, courageous, charismatic, and loving individual. He will be deeply missed by the Liberian community in Staten Island, New York, where everyone called him “PA Brown”. We will continue to cherish the special memories he left behind.
