The Railey, Dyer, Campell, Neal and Harper families regret to announce the passing of our brother, father, grandfather, husband, uncle, nephew, and cousin, Mr. Alexander Burgess Railey “AKA” Prophet Railey.
Prophet Railey’s life journey on earth came to a close on Monday June 8, 2026 at 4:11 PM after a Brain stroke at the community Regional Medical Center Fresno California .
Prophet Railey leaves to morn his wife of 25 years, Wanda Railey, his only daughter Dr. Audrey Railey-Hughes-Paasewe, one grandson, his sisters Louise Railey-Gibson and Elizabeth Railey –Selli (Joe), his brothers Louis Kabah Railey and John Railey, one stepdaughter, a stepson ten nieces, ten nephews and his beloved cousin/brother/partner in music, Charles S. Neal III and a host of other relatives.
Prophet Railey was preceded in death by his father Louis A. Railey, Sr., his mother Mary Campbell-Pierre, his brothers, Jimmy, Louis A. Railey, Jr. aka Kruboy), Julius Railey and his sister Annetta Railey.
The sudden passing of Prophet Railey will be felt by all who knew and loved him. May his soul rest in perfect and perpetual peace,
