Patience M. Railey

The Railey, Richards, Summerville, Dayrell, Howard, and Cisco families announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunty, cousin, and friend, Patience (Peon) M. Railey. Peon transitioned from mortally to immortality on Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Potomac, Maryland.

She is survived by her children Othello (Margaret), Gerald (Dorraine), Elvira (John), her sisters Esther Bryant and Kula Curry (Ishmael). She also is survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and close friends.

Patience (Peon) was predeceased by her parents, Ethel F. Railey-Moore and James Railey; her son, John R. Richards, Jr., many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. We are grateful to our Heavenly Father for her life, and her beliefs in the resurrection.

We have the satisfaction and assurance that we shall see her again when we meet face-to-face beyond the veil!
