The Thomas and Tubman Family announce with deep regret the passing of our beloved mother, sister, aunt and cousin, Ms. Wilhelmina Christie Thomas. This sad event occurred on July 16, 2026, after a brief illness at the Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center in Culpeper, Virginia, United States of America.
She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter: Wealthia Clarke, her adopted son; John Thomas, her sister; Edda Howard, grandchildren; John, Ona, Nathan and Willimena, and a host of relatives and friends in the United States of America and Liberia.
Funeral services will be held on August 1,2026 at St. Stephens Episcopal Church ; 115 N East Street, Culpeper, VA 22701 at 10AM, and interment at Fairview Cemetery; 822 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
