It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt, friend, and stepmother, Mrs. Naomi Tanneh Wolo. She departed this world on April 1, 2024, following a protracted illness. This sad event occurred in Sacramento, California, the United States of America. She was 71 years old.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jarloth Wolo, Sr., and her son, Siehnema Wolo.
She is survived by her children Kwame Weah Wolo, Patience Duwli Wolo, Harold Snosio Neufville, and Edward S. Grant, Jr; Her step-children Veronica Wolo-Totimeh, Jacinta Wolo-Lodonou, Jarloth Wolo, Jr and Nmasnoh Wolo; Her siblings Marcus Kumeh, Victoria Kumeh, Jenkins Kumeh, Joseph Kumeh, Juwle Kumeh, and Jerome Kumeh; She is also survived by her cousins Elpha Randal, Elson Nebo, Kamal Nebo; her friend Beatrice Wisseh-Hinneh, a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
She is predeceased by her siblings Snoti Kumeh, Ken Kumeh and Tiplah Kumeh, and by her aunt Luticia Nebo.
Mrs. Naomi Wolo was born in Grand Cess, Grand Kru County, and worked for many years with the National Archives of Liberia.
