Celebrating the Life of Mr. Samuel Bayogar Woods Sr.
Affectionately Known as “Papa Woods”
It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, Mr. Samuel Bayogar Woods Sr., affectionately called “Papa Woods.” He departed this life on February 15th, 2025, at Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA.
He is survived by his four loving children: Samuel Woods Jr., Trokon Woods, Denise Woods, and Carnetta Woods. His memory will also be cherished by his sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces, extended family, and a host of dear friends.

A Life Well Lived:
Samuel Bayogar Woods Sr. was a man of wisdom, integrity, and boundless kindness. His life was marked by generosity, a deep love for family, and unwavering faith. He was a guiding light to those who knew him, always ready with a word of encouragement and a heart open to serve. Though he is no longer with us in body, his legacy of love, strength, and resilience will live on in our hearts forever.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Ah, Sammy. Wow! This is still unbelievable. Tell Auntie Phemie hello for us. I am sorry, I am unable to attend your funeral service. We will do our best to keep in touch with the kids.
