It is with deep sadness that the Wreh, Togba, Doe, and Bartee families announce the passing of Mr. Joseph M. Wreh Jr. He departed this life on Sunday, March 9, 2025, in Monrovia, Liberia, following a brief illness.
Mr. Wreh, affectionately known as Dea-Con, Machine, or JoWreh, was a walking symbol of resilience, perseverance, and strength. His life was a testament to his unwavering spirit and his ability to overcome adversity.
He leaves to mourn his beloved son, Joseph “Joey” M. Wreh III. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kyla Alexis Stone and Sephan Ellis Wreh, and his great-grandchild, Esme Violet Stone. His siblings, Aisie Wreh, Vivienne Wreh, and Esther Wreh-Neal, along with a host of relatives and friends, will deeply miss his presence.
Mr. Wreh was predeceased by his parents, Joseph M. Wreh Sr. and Beatrice Togba Wreh, and his siblings, Helena Watkins-Cardor, Amelia Muna Wreh, and Patrick Kla Wreh.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at the chapel of Anderson Funeral Parlor at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Monrovia, Liberia.
In this time of grief, we remember Mr. Joseph M. Wreh Jr. for his strength, his spirit, and the love he shared with those around him. He will be deeply missed.
