
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, relative and friend, Mr. Richard Alexander Wiles, Sr.
This sad event occurred on January 31, 2025 in Freetown, Sierra Leone following a brief illness.
He leaves to mourn his cherished memory…..
His wife, Audrey Dunbar Wiles.
His four children: Richard Alexander Wiles, Jr (Angel), Lorvonne Wiles Buesmaill (Roger),
Waldron Stanley Wiles, and Ruel Olushola Wiles (Jesslyn)
Nine grandchildren: Roland Wiles (Aracelis) Albertine Wiles, Jazlynn Wiles,
Marcel Wiles, Reynold Stubblefield, Alex Roesler, Giselle Wiles, Waldron Wiles, Jr. and
Eniko Wiles.
One great granddaughter, Amani Wiles
Nine Siblings: Walter Wiles (Seklau, deceased), Arthur Wiles (Precious),
Florence Wiles Thornes (Melvin, deceased), Chantal Wiles Doe (Lawrence, deceased),
Stanley Wiles (Pruniel), Weyatta Wiles, Zinnah Wiles (Evangeline), Abayomi Edu (Maureen) &
Hamilton Kojo Biney
He also leaves to mourn his loss his paternal aunts, Marjon Wiles Greaves, Tiedi Wiles York, and Siatta Wiles; his cousin Sonny Moses with whom he spent his last days in Sierra Leone, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Richard J. Wiles, Ivy Fairley, Daisy Wiles and his grandson, Arjay Wiles.
Richard’s jovial, affectionate, and loving spirit will be sorely missed by all his loved ones. May his soul rest in the most perfect peace.
