It is with great sadness that the Watkins, Baker, Carter and Pratt families announce the homegoing of their beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin Mr. Colbert R. Watkins. He was called to rest on Saturday, August 9, 2025 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, U S A.
Colbert was preceded in death by his father Mr. Samuel C. M. Wah Watkins and his mother Ms. Martha Baker; his siblings Ernest Watkins, Wellington M. Watkins, Louie A. Watkins, Mansfield Watkins, Helena Watkins, and Baucus Pratt.
He leaves to mourn his loss his children: Joyce Tutu Watkins, Baucus Watkins (Angela), Kevin Watkins, Ashlee Watkins James (Cody), Rachel Watkins and Terence Carl Clarke; his siblings Sam “Wah” Watkins (Maisie), and Emeric Pratt; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends in Liberia, the United States, and around the world.
