Mr. Amara Bako Freeman

It is with deep sadness that the Freeman/Fahnbulleh, Dobson, Kollie, and Garnett Families announce the passing of Mr. Amara Bako Freeman, beloved husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend.

He departed this world on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at the Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Springs, Maryland, United States of America.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories that will forever reside in our hearts.

He was predeceased by his parents Austin M. Freeman Sr. and Hannah Dobson

Freeman and his first wife Dearborn Garnett Freeman. He is survived by his wife Frances Kollie Freeman, his children, Amara Bako Freeman, Jr., Austin Mambu Freeman III, Facia Hannah Freeman, Sedia Naomi Freeman Awuah, his grandchildren, Austin (AJ) Mambu Freeman V, Soraya Awuah, Amara Awuah, and Nyla Awuah, his siblings, Cietta Freeman McKay(Livingston), Sedia Freeman Gooding(George), George L. Freeman(Alecia), Famatta Freeman, Musu Freeman Rogers , Hawa Freeman Clemens(Major), Austin M. Freeman II(Edith), Molley Freeman(Louise) and Abraham Rogers(Bendu). He is also mourned by his nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and numerous extended family members, friends, and loved ones, in Liberia, the USA, and other parts of the world.
