Counselor-at-law Charles B. Dunbar Sr., Sunrise: August 22, 1944 – Sunset: September 30, 2023. He fought the good fight, he kept the faith, and he finished the race. 2 Timothy 4:7 It is with great sadness that the Dunbar and Boayue families announce the transition of Counselor Charles B. Dunbar Sr., commonly called Bro. Charlie, Uncle Charlie and Cousin Charlie.
He leaves to mourn his death, his four children, Belle Dunbar-Roberts (Louis), Charlyne Dunbar, Charles Dunbar, Jr. (Leigha), and Cecil Dunbar, three grandchildren Monique Logan, Channon C. Dunbar and Cayden A. Dunbar-Ebba, his former wife Ms. Hannah L. York, who unconditionally stood by him, his surviving siblings, in-laws, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Celebration of Life for the late Counselor Charles B. Dunbar Sr. will be held at the People’s Baptist Church, 1010 Groves Street, Kings Mountain, NC 28086 on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at 1:00 pm.
