It is with great sadness that the Smith, Winder, Minor, Page, Wright, Knuckles, Bull, Richard, Wordsworth, and Craig, families announce the peaceful transition to Glory of Mother Louise Clara Smith, affectionately called Teacher Louise in the city of Careysburg, Liberia.
This sad event occurred on October 7th, 2024, at 11:20 AM at her home in Careysburg. We thank God for blessing her and allowing her to enjoy a respectful and lengthy life in good health.
The late Mother Louise Clara Smith was predeceased by her parents: James Smith Sr and Emma C. Winder and her siblings: Sammy Smith & Nancy Freeman Page. Her children: Alphonso Wright, Lafayette Eddie Knuckles I, Andy Knuckles, Bennetta Page, Thomas, and Williette Page Palmer. Her grandchildren: Gebah Wright, Nettie Wright, Lafayette E Knuckles II, Emery L Knuckles, Eric Appleton and her great- grandchild Victoria Joko Palmer.
She leaves to mourn with fond memories her loving children: Rose Ann Cecelia Knuckles-Bull, Benoni Knuckles, Minister Lovea Magdalene Page Harvey (Henrique Harvey III [d]), and Emma Connie Page Kollieyon (Christopher S. Kollieyon). Her foster children Samo Peter, Zinah, Johnkue, Joe Urey, Nathan Richards, Robert Richards and her most dutiful goddaughter, Maria Bates Korgor.
