Lucy J. Hne, 73, died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
She was born in Monrovia, Liberia on March 2, 1950, and was the daughter of the late John and Maria (T) Nyanplu. She received her education in the Monrovia School System and was a graduate of Ricks Institute High School.
For many years, she was employed in the packaging department at Henry Hanger formerly of Nashua. Prior to moving to the United States, Lucy was employed by the Ministry of Planning in Liberia.
In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, maintaining her home, and was a talented seamstress. She genuinely loved to dance, if you ever visited her, she was constantly dancing. She was a friendly and funny person and loved to make anyone laugh. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her five children, Jacqueline B. Andrews, Roland Andrews, Prince Tokyo Banks who pre deceased her, Sebo Jude, Ramonita Banks – Johnson, and Gloria L. Dennis-Johnson; 15 grandchildren, Alvin Nyenapee, Christiana K. Birch, Mary Ann Andrews, Alfred Andrews, Levi Sorsor, Facia Kemayah, Lloyd M. Andrews, Cliffina Johnson, Angel Johnson, Steve Cyrus Cooper, Price Emmanuel Judue, Keyra Judue, Ramone B. Johnson, Chessma F. Johnson, and Serenity K. Johnson; four great-grandchildren, Ephariam D. Nyenapee, Cyril P. Torkpa, Ahead P. Torkpa, and Alfreda Andrews. She is also survived by her siblings, Br. Francis N. Sebo, Cecelia Wesseh, and Elizabeth Wesseh; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her six sisters and eight brothers. Please keep the family in your prayers, especially the children as they mourn the loss of their mother and grandmother as she transitions from labor to rest. May the light of God shine perpetually upon her.
