It is with great sadness and heartfelt grief that the Harvey, Hungerford, Wallace, and Satie families along with other relatives announce the homegoing of their Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Aunty, Cousin and Friend, Louvenia Nux Annie Harvey affectionately called Ma Nux.
Her sad passing occurred on August 26, 2024, after a brief illness at the Nova-Cardio Hospital in Côte d’Ivoire. The late Ma Nux was predeceased by her parents: John Francis Harvey Sr., Annie Edith Hungerford Harvey and Theodosia Louvenia Cooper Harvey and her siblings: Amos, Johnette, Rex, Nancy, Emmanuel, Henrique A.Z. Harvey, Lee, and Eva Grigsby, Maryann Dixon, and Annie Cooper.
She will always be fondly remembered by her loving children: Himieda Sema Wallace Satie, Klonette Hinneh & Velma Davis, her son in-law: Urey Sayon Satie, Sr., her grandson: Urey Sayon Satie, Jr (UJ); her siblings: Haven Grigsby, Samuel Ghunney, Christian Harvey, John F. Harvey Jr, Jonathan Trouble Nester Harvey and Joseph Harvey Jr., Fannie Cole Weefur, Rose Ama Ghunney, and Ama Grace Van Bossch. Mourning her also are her aunts: Sarah Jane Hungerford Roberts, Dedniea Harvey, Klenweh Sojah, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and close friends in the United States, and Liberia, West Africa.
Rest In Perfect Peace, God’s beloved child, until we meet again.
Funeral Arrangements:
On Thursday, September 12, 2024, her Mortal Remains will be Removed from the Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Home at 2PM and taken to Grand Masonic Temple for an Eastern Star Service after which it will be taken to the Providence Baptist Church for wake keeping beginning at 6PM.
All Tributes will be paid at the wake keeping except for organizations listed in the funeral which will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 10am at the Providence Baptist Church, Broad, Center & Ashmun Streets.
Internment will take place at Shiata Vaults, Careysburg
Repast: Wulki Farm, Careysburg
