The Sherman and Whisnant families deeply regret to announce the passing of our son, nephew, cousin and brother, John William Feweh Sherman, Jr. who passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee after a brief illness.
John was born on July 13, 1977 in Monrovia, Liberia unto the union of the late Honorable John William Feweh Sherman, Sr. and the late Kellita Atheline Whisnant Sherman. He moved to Nashville, where he attended high school and college and later got married. A visionary art photographer and video producer, John was known for his optimistic personality, great sense of humor, originality, urbane sophistication, and cosmopolitan style. He will be missed by his family who cherished him dearly.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his beloved wife of 18 years, Michelle, their four loving children: Marco, John III, Faith and Steven, his brother Rajoe (Patrice), and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, cousins, and extended family to cherish him in memory.
