It is with profound sadness that the Nigba, Lincoln & Dalieh families announce the home-going of their wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Isabella Pouwda Dalieh Nigba.
The beloved daughter of the Late Rev. James B. Lincoln and Mother Martha B. Lincoln was born on March 1, 1958 in Pleebo, Maryland County, Liberia. God in his infinite wisdom, called Isabella home peacefully from her labor to reward on the early morning of August 7, 2024, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by family and friends in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Isabella was a devout Catholic and was a dedicated member of the Holy Angels Catholic Church, Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from St. Teresa’s Convent High School in Monrovia, Liberia and earned her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the University of Liberia. Isabella was a dedicated member of St. Cecelia Ladies Aux # 367 KSJ Int’l, the Liberian Association of Catholic Brothers and Sisters Knights in the Americas (LAC-BRASKA), the Liberian Association of Indiana as well as the Maryland Association of Indiana Chapter respectively. She was a loving and devoted Mom, wife, a hard worker and a social butterfly who always extended a helping hand to her family and others and will be deeply missed at family gatherings and celebrations.
She is survived by her beloved mother, Mother Martha Beleda Lincoln; husband, Raymond Toe-Pheh Nigba; her daughters, Bernice Alpha, Korpo Ballah, Christine Ballah, Roberta Ballah; son Aloysius Ballah; bonus son, Nuwah Nigba; grandchildren, Mekhi Rosemin, Alaysia Levi, Easton Maur Jackson, Juwel Monroe Sampson; bonus grandchildren, Joanna M. & Amanda Nigba; sisters, Caroline Williams, Martha (Joseph) Gbor, Lawrence (Madia) Brewer, Kade L. Strand, Ayo B. Lincoln, Ploda (Emike) Slawon, Duwlee (Joshua) Schuster; brothers, Alfred G. Lincoln, Dr. Adams K. Lincoln, Patrick (Musuleng-Deborah) Lincoln, Dr. Jutieh (Flossy) Lincoln, Jacob Dalieh Lincoln along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lovingly and sorrowfully submitted,
