John 14:1-3 (NIV):
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, David W. Slah Sr. He touched the lives of so many, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and cherished memories.
David was born on November 20, 1961, and passed away on August 17, 2024, at 1 PM in Bethesda, Maryland. He was affectionately known by many and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
He leaves to mourn his peaceful and blessed memory, his loving family, including his siblings, along with a host of relatives and friends in the USA, Liberia, and around the world.

- Funeral Service: Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 9 AM to 12 PM at Grace United Methodist Church, 7001 New Hampshire Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912.
- Burial: Maryland National Memorial, 13300 Baltimore Ave, Laurel, MD 20707 (immediately following the funeral service).
