With deep sadness, the Curtis, Reed, Simpson, Outland & Coleman families announce the homegoing of Hon. Ralph J. Curtis.

Our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend transitioned peacefully on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026, at his home in the City of Brewerville, Liberia.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his devoted wife, Jamesetta Reed-Curtis; his three children; Chester, Janice and Rodney; his siblings; J. Robert Harvey, Jr. (Joyce), Mrs. Larine Mathies, Julius ‘Pops’ Marshall, Ms. Senora A. Marshall, Mrs. Joyce Hayes-Hoggard (Elvis), Brenda S. Curtis, Alfred B. Curtis, Jr. (Aurelia), Amelia M. Curtis, Verlene Curtis-Torchiano (Anthony), Edwin V. Curtis (Kpannah), Lafayette R. Curtis, Jacqueline Curtis, Tony C. Curtis, T. Amanda Curtis, Felecia Curtis & Alvin B. Curtis; his adoptive brothers; James ‘Jimmy’ Coleman & Omar Coleman; his maternal Aunts; Mrs. Elnora Simpson-Dennis & Ms. Eugenia Simpson; his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Hon. Ralph J. Curtis was preceded in death by his biological parents, Mr. Alfred B. Curtis, Sr. & Mrs. Clarice Simpson-Marshall; his adoptive parents, Mr. Austin Coleman & Mrs. Julia-Simpson Coleman and his twin brother Mr. Roland J. Curtis.

Ralph will be remembered for his loving and caring spirit, his unwavering faith in God, and the strength of his convictions.
