Home going celebrations of Michael M. Wiles Sr.

Michael was born on August 6, 1949 in Tappita, Nimba County to the union of Mary Nyonton and John Wiles Sr. He attended Ganta Methodist School in Ganta, Nimba County. Michael then went to the USA where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree at St. Francis College in Brooklyn New York. He earned Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Prairie View A&M University, in Houston, Texas.

Michael returned home to Liberia in 1980 and served the Government of Liberia in many capacities. Michael was Professor of Strategic Planning and Management, Human Resource Management and Marketing Management of the Cuttington Graduate School of Professional Studies, until his death. He also served as Adjunct Professor at the University of Liberia. Michael served as Acting Managing Director of the Liberia National Lotteries, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer and previously Deputy Managing Director of Air Liberia and Project Manager of the Nimba County Social Development Fund.

Michael leaves to mourn his loss, his wife of 39 years, Jebbeh Fatu Kromah Wiles, 9 children, Mrs. Debra Wiles Burton, Michael M. Wiles Jr, Vorjoloh Maurice Wiles, Vangie GbelouWiles, Misan Varsay Wiles, Fodee Lauw Wiles, Manja JehmaWiles, Zoeluma Kromah Wiles and Melvin Wiles; 6 siblings; Thomas Wiles, John Wiles Jr., Catherine Wiles Tilley, Jennie Wiles, Mardia Dennis, Abioseh Jeahu, and seven grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his loss foster children, Mrs. Jammie Kekula, Maybe Johnson, his cousin and confident, Alvin Kpaeyeh and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. May his soul rest in peace.
