Our Beloved father, grandfather, uncle and cousin Bishop Isaac Golan Deah-Hood, Sr passed away peacefully in his 87th year on Thursday, May 11, 2023, in Monrovia, Liberia.
Bishop Hood was a man who spent his life in service to our Almighty God, educating and nurturing his biological and adoptive children and countless others in the communities he served. He has left us with fond memories of his devotion to service, smiles and laughter.
He is survived by: His children: Isaac Hood, Jr., Rebecca Roda Hood, Vera Chiendah Hood, Seelu Zonweindeh Hood- Madehdou, Yousador Hood, Mary Hood-Teah, Stephen Hood, Othello Levi Hood, Daniel Barkun Hood, Gbarngo Louise Hood, Younkor Hood, Keme Hood, Victor Hood, Patience Hood.
Bishop Hood was predeceased by two of his children: Martha Hood and Mamie Hood. He leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his close knit of relatives including nieces, nephews and cousins.
May his soul rest in peace.

Body Removal: 9:00 a.m. from the St. Moses’s Funeral Parlor to the Church
Viewing and Funeral: 10:00 a.m. At the conclusion of the service, the Body will be taken to Gbarnga, Bong County

Date: Saturday, June 24, 2023, 10:00 a.m.
Location: Kuoo Henry United Methodist Church for 30 minutes viewing
