With hearts full of deep love and gratitude, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Mrs. Evangeline Munah Tweh Owens Johnson.
Although we mourn the loss of our precious “Vangie,” we give all the glory to God, celebrating her beautiful life that brought an abundance of joy, laughter, love, and inspiration to so many.
Vangie’s smile could brighten the darkest of days. Her kindness could be experienced from miles away, and her passion for life could transcend even the toughest of times and circumstances.
We remember not just the life that has ended, but also the beautiful legacy that remains. Vangie will live on through all of us! We will always celebrate the lessons, the laughter, the love, the tears of joy and sorrow, and the many examples with which she led.
Although Vangie’s earthly journey has come to an end, her heavenly excursion, at the behest of God, has begun. And in His name, all of us shall gain from Vangie’s new assignment.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. We, the Tweh, Nimley, Owens and Johnson families, will honor Vangie by choosing joy, spreading love, embracing each moment, and living life to the fullest.
Forever loved, forever cherished, and never forgotten.
Rest peacefully in the bosom of your Heavenly Father, sweet darling Vangie!
Vangie was predeceased by her parents, The Honorable and Mrs. Matthew W. Tweh, Sr., and Mrs. Elsie Nimley, as well as her siblings, Dora, Olivia, Velma and Taweh.
