The Brumskine, Barnard, and Smart families are saddened to announce the death of Emmanuel Ruebe Brumskine. This transition from earth to eternity occurred on January 10, 2023, at the Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Maryland, USA. Ruebe was an exceptional husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, cousin, relative, and friend. We will miss him tremendously.
Emmanuel leaves to mourn his loss and forever cherish loving memories, his wife, Alabama; children, Trocon Brumskine, Alrue Callands, Ashley Brumskine-Mayah; mother-in-law, Ethel Clarke Barnard; daughter-in-law, Arnette Brumskine; sons-in-law, James Callands, Jr., Joseph Mayah II; grandchildren, Kenya Brumskine, Ivoree Brumskine, NaShawn Callands, Malaika Mayah; siblings, Theonie Johnson, Pauline Toler, Elizabeth Smart, Hilderia Labala, Margaret Brumskine, Winifred Brumskine, Anita Divine, Major Brumskine, Mayme Brumskine, Hannibal L. Brumskine II, Nathaniel Brumskine, Beatrice Brumskine, Benny D. Brumskine, Robert Brumskine; nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, numerous relatives, and life-long friends.
