Deaconess Rose Bohn Brandy

I have fought long and hard for my Lord, and through it all, I have kept true to Him. Now the time has come to stop fighting and rest. In Heaven a crown is waiting for me which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on that great day of His return. And not just for me, but for all those you live shows that they are eagerly looking forward to his return, 2 Timothy 4:7-8

It is with great sadness of our hearts that The Brandy, Russell, Grove, and John families announce the homegoing of our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend, Mrs. Rose Bohn Brandy. Mrs. Brandy served as a Deaconess at Providence Baptist Church in Monrovia, Liberia and upon relocating to Atlanta, also served as Deaconess at International Christian Fellowship Ministries in Atlanta, Georgia. She was called to rest to be with the Lord early Thursday, August 8, 2024. Momma Rose B. Brandy will be dearly missed for her soft-spoken voice, love and care for her friends and family- four children, Cecil Theophilus Othello Brandy, Sr. (Lerine), Emma C. Lucier, Elma (Peewee) Brandy and Jared. L. Brandy, daughter in law, Brigitte Brandy (Jehu-deceased), and foster daughter Dweh Innis (Lee). She is survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren- Dr. Kadallah Z. Brandy, Vah Brandy, Emma Brandy, Othello Brandy, Jr., Jesse Brandy (Georgia), Quadie Glover (Ramont), Dwayne Lucier, Brandi Samuel (Randolph), Roxanne Awowanya (Seun), Sebia Brandy, Jared E. Brandy, Patrick Brandy and eight great-grandchildren, as well as several many loved nieces, nephews and cousins residing in the U.S., Liberia and other countries. She is predeceased by dear husband of 60 years, Deacon Jehu J. Brandy, Sr., her father, the Rt. Rev. Alfred Kawi Russell and mother, Blojay John, son, Rev. Jehu J. Brandy, Jr., stepdaughter Lilly-Mae, granddaughters, Mary and Julenne, grandson Leo, granddaughter-in- law Kelly and a host of beloved family members.
