It is with profound sadness that the Woods & Kpangbai families announce the passing of the beloved Sister, Mother, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend, Deacon Sarah Estella Woods Kpangbai on Thursday, December 5th at the John F. Kennedy Medical Hospital, Sinkor, Liberia.
Estella was predeceased by her parents, Kojo William Woods I & Frances Estella Greene Woods; her husband, David Kpangbai; Brothers – Kojo William Woods II, Dr. Joel Jones; Sister: Viola Woods Mitchell.
She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory, three brothers: Alfred E. Woods, George K. Woods (Velma), and Wendell William Woods (Georgia); Four Sisters: Rosetta Woods Roberts (A. A. Roberts, Sr. – Deceased), Shirley Woods, Sara Renee Smith, Koney Jones Goodridge (Ransford Goodridge – Deceased); and Sister-In-Law Serena Thomas Woods. She also leaves to celebrate and cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends of Liberia and the United States of America.
Homegoing Services will be held on Saturday, January 18th, 2025:
