It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that the Tolbert, Carr, Parsons, Giddings, Dennis, Harris and Wisseh families announce the sudden home-going of their beloved mother, sister, aunty, niece, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin and friend, DEACON JOANNA ZOE TOLBERT-CARR. Deacon Carr gained her wings on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at the Maranatha Nursing Home, Minneapolis, MN, USA.
Born in Bensonville, Liberia in 1941, Deacon Carr was a devout Christian and lived a life of family, hard work, community outreach and dedication. She is survived by her beloved Step-mother, Ma Fatu Tolbert (Liberia), her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters and a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, the Providence Baptist Church family, the Gates of Heaven Mid-Day Prayer-Band family and Calvary Evangelical Ministries Family.
