The Wilson, Dudley, Walker, Freeman, Brownell, and Williams’ families regret to announce the death of their dear Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Grandfather Counselor – William Himie Wilson, in his 71 years of life.
This sad event occurred on January 13, 2023. His body has been deposited at the St. Moses Funeral Parlor in Gardnesville, Monrovia. He leaves to mourn his :
• Wife, Mrs. Doris Dudley Wilson• Four children, Hannah G. Wilson, Sie Alexander Wilson, Himiede Wilson Sesay, and Thidus Banks
• Several sisters, two brothers, nephews, nieces, grandchildren and the host of other relatives in USA, Canada, and Liberia
The family wishes to inform the public about his funeral rites:
The body will be removed from the St. Moses funeral Parlor on February 10, 2023, @ 5:00 pm and taken to the St. Timothy Episcopal Church in New Georgia Estate for wake keeping beginning @ 6:00 pm. An all-night wake-keeping will follow this at his New Georgia Estate residence in Block D, Bassa Town.
The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Trinity Cathedral on Broad Street beginning at 10:00 am.
Interment will follow this at the Kaiser Memorial Lawn in Brewerville outside Monrovia.
The family wishes to inform all sympathizers and well-wishers that all tributes will be paid during the wake keeping at the church. However, only the family, organizations, and Churches will pay tributes on the day of the funeral service.
Also, dates for the deceased final home going (Traditional War Dance) and Hair Cutting will be announced later.
