The Wiles, Fahnbulleh, Talery and Kandakai families wishes to announce with deepest sorrow, the death of their beloved husband, father , grandfather , great-grandfather, uncle and cousin, Mr. Charles Manjah Wiles, Sr., in his 75th year. This sad event occurred on February 18, 2023 in Monrovia, Liberia.
Mr. Charles M. Wiles, Sr. leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, Mrs. Tonieh A. Talery-Wiles, 6 children: Richard Armah, Gabriel Manjah, Tocha Maimah , Charles Manjah Jr , Ciatta-Mai Richelle, and Mambu Maxwell; 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grand children, 3 surviving sisters Mrs. Tiedi Wiles-York, Mrs. Marjon Greaves, Ms. Ciatta Wiles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends in the USA , Liberia, Europe and other parts of the world .
Mr. Charles M. Wiles, Sr. was pre-deceased by his late father, Honorable Richard Stanley Wiles (former speaker of the house of the Republic of Liberia ) and his late mother Madam Maimah B. Fahnbulleh of Jundu, Grand Cape Mount County.
May Charles’ gentle soul rest in perfect peace, with the souls of all the faithful departed, and may light perpetual shine upon them. Amen!
Funeral Arrangements are as follows :
The remains of Mr. Charles M. Wiles, Sr. will be removed from the A.B. Anderson Funeral Home on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 4pm and taken to the Trinity Cathedral Episcopal Church on Broad street for one night of wake keeping. The Wake will start at 6pm promptly.
The funeral service will take place the following day on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 9 a.m. Thereafter, the body will be taken to the Wiles Farm, Almond Tree Community, on Bong Mines Road, Kakata, Margibi County for internment and repast afterwards.
All tributes will be paid at the wake.
